Who knew that picture books could spark game ideas?
The game instructors at Hong Kong Central Library's Toy Library will draw game ideas from the picture book I'm Taking My Dinosaur to the Library, recreating the story of a little dinosaur and children rushing to the library to listen to stories. This month's two-part game party will also feature a library creation segment, where children and parents can create their own library equipment or decorations based on the theme picture book and the evening's game plot. The creations will be displayed at the Toy Library in September. Participating families will also receive a 'Read and Play: A Fun-filled' parent-child experience card, so that everyone can continue 'Read and Play: A Fun-filled' at home!
Target Audience: Children aged 4-8 and one parent
Quota: 20 families
Language: Cantonese
Fee: Free
Registration Method: Please register online for the parent-child game workshop.
